Oh what a friendly face! We made these cute cupcakes on Christmas Eve day, right before leaving for Founding Farmers for our holiday eve dinner. We enjoyed our yummy dinner, took a ride around our city to look at Christmas lights and then headed home to decorate our cupcakes.
I used our standard Baking Illustrated vanilla cupcake recipe (you add sour cream to the batter!) and a pre-made tub of vanilla frosting. The snowman’s face came from orange writing gel, mini chocolate chips, and Wilton crystal sugar sprinkles.
