About Me!
Hiya, my name is Donna Hessling and I make stuff. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been involved in crafty things. For a long while it was all about jewelry and while I still make pieces from time to time, now I concentrate on bags, purses, and accessories.
It all started in February 2006. It was my sister’s birthday, and I was feeling creative and maybe somewhat daring. I had just purchased a low-end sewing machine and after making curtains and pillowcases for my home, I attempted something a little more advanced. And that’s how I came to sew my very first purse.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was incredibly adorable, and I felt so accomplished. Soon after, my obsession with designing and sewing purses and bags exploded. I upgraded to a much better machine and making items almost every day gives me great practice in perfecting my techniques and skills.

- Live in Virginia. Right close to our nation’s capitol.
- Married to Mike. He created my web shop. And he’s the tops.
- A stay-at-home mama to the amazing Matty and Noah. AKA Chicken AKA Little Face AKA Bubs or Bubbies (yes, I get carried away with the nicknames).
- Love coffee. Good coffee.
- Probably couldn’t live without our TiVo. Well, I could, and since it broke, I have, but you know, am unhappy it’s broken.
- Autism awareness is very important to me.
- Wouldn’t mind living on a farm or a ranch someday.
- Want to learn how to juggle proficiently.
- Love cookies, ice cream, and fried spaghetti. But not all together.
- Jesus is my homeboy. My faith shapes me and is a part of everything I do.
