Inspired by a craftgrrl post showcasing a cute homemade dinosaur.
I just had to make one for Matt.
His name is Hank, don’t cha know.

He’s made of very soft polar fleece and felt.
I didn’t use a pattern, just cut and sewed.
He’s friendly.

I had 2 pairs of store-bought earrings that I needed to repair. I didn’t really dig the whole design overall, so I re-did them by added/subtracting certain elements. I neglected to take before pics. Boo on me.

So I covered them up.

After:

I purchased a few yards of a discounted fabric at G Street fabrics. The total was less than 10 bucks to make both panels.

One of the first projects on my current sewing machine.
I made these when we moved back to Arlington.
The fabric is a cotton blend shirting material. It was 2.98 a yard and I wound up using about 3 yards of it.
I had to add the border because I initially made them too short. To add interest, I had the stripes going horizontal.

With the leftover fabric, I made 2 pillowcases. They were a bit short (shocker!) so I added some ties to keep the pillows in.

I like using a bunch of different types of beads for my jewelry. Lots of times I really have no clue exactly what I’m using, I just like the look of them.
