Autumnal scarf.

Swirl (by MODA DEA), color is Parrot
and
Homespun, color is Harvest

I think I got it at AC Moore or Michael’s, I can’t remember which.

I don’t know anything about knitting. I just know how to knit scarves. I’m so lame.
I’m lucky I can do this though. I’ve made a few nice, cozy ones.
I used bamboo needles, but I have no clue what size they were.

2nd anniversary.

Mike and I decided to make t-shirts for each other’s anniversary gift.
Cotton being the traditional gift for the second year, we thought this was a good way to go.
Unbeknownst to the other, we both had planned on screen printing t-shirts.
We used this wonderfully awesome cheap screen printing tutorial. We used the exact materials Kristy listed in her tutorial. It worked beautifully and here are our results:

I had such a good time and was so pleased with the results, I made one for Little Face:

Skirt and shirt.

My first foray into patterns. I picked 2 relatively easy ones by Simplicity.
I modified a bit on both of them.
The shirt I made a bit longer (darned long torso!) and I fudged the neckline a bit because the pattern was a bit wonky. I love the flower.

The skirt is a simple pencil type. The pattern didn’t call for a lining, but I thought it needed one. First time doing zippers and darts. Good stuff.

The whole thing:

Shirt fabric was from Joann’s. On clearance. 2 bucks a yard.
And the skirt material was from G Street, 2.98 a yard.
